Concrete Tile Design Competition - Shortlist

The wait is almost over for entrants to our KAZA Concrete Tile Design Competition, as we announce the shortlist of 21 stunning entries. But to find out the winner you’ll have to wait just a little bit longer, as we’ll be announcing them ‘live’ at an event at our W1 showroom on the 12th Feb.

The brief was simple - design a range of decorative concrete tiles which are practical and yet aesthetically pleasing and really think about the material - what can you do with concrete that you cannot do with other materials?

"It was hugely enjoyable to be part of the judging process. The quality of entries were extremely high, with many submissions fully utilising the exciting qualities and potential of the Kaza product. It was hard to select a winner but after much deliberation the successful entrant received unanimous backing from the panel."

‘We had a higher than expected number of entries, but what we were really struck by was the amount of time and effort that had gone into them. Those on the shortlist represent the full spectrum of ideas we received, and showcase the breadth of work people produced when responding to the brief. We hope you enjoy looking through them, and maybe guessing who the winner will be?’
